Campo was elected superior general of the Little Sisters of St Joseph in 1915 and volunteered for the congregation's new mission in south Shansi, China, where she died in 1929. Her exact birth date is given inconsistently (21 January and 20 June 1884 on the same page), so only the year is recorded here.
