Who they were
The decree on martyrdom describes her as a professed religious of the Handmaids of the Blessed Sacrament and of Charity, born on 27 January 1864 at Desojo in the diocese of Calahorra, who made temporary vows on 20 September 1888 and perpetual vows on 22 May 1891; in the world she was Juana Francisca Pérez de Labeaga García. She was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Pope Benedict XVI.
