Who they were
Bonaventura de Arroyo Cerezo was born at Arroyo Cerezo in the province of Valencia on 7 March 1913, and made his solemn profession and received the minor orders in May 1936. He was arrested on 24 August 1936 and killed the next day on the road to La Verneda in Barcelona.
He was beatified on 21 November 2015 by Pope Francis, among the twenty-six Capuchin martyrs of Barcelona.
