Who they were
Bruna Pellesi was born on 11 November 1917 at Prignano sulla Secchia, Italy, the last of nine children, a girl of good humour, sweetness and joy.
She gave her heart instead to Christ as Sister Maria Rosa of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Christ, and much of her religious life was marked by suffering.
