Brynach
Welsh saint

Who they were
Brynach was an Irish missionary in Wales, a contemporary of St Patrick. About 418 he travelled to Rome and Brittany and then to Milford Haven, and built oratories by the rivers Cleddau, Gwain and Caman and at Carn Engyli, the 'Mountain of the Angels'.
Among his converts was Brecan, ruler of South Wales. The Welsh Lives say he died on 7 April; he was the instrument, under God, of converting a great part of Wales.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

An Irish pilgrim who brought much of Wales to Christ.
