Who they were
In the city of Gondar in Ethiopia, Blesseds Agathange (François) Nourry of Vendôme and Cassien (Gonzalve) Vaz López-Netto of Nantes, priests of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin and martyrs, who in Syria, Egypt and Ethiopia sought to reconcile separated Christians with the Catholic Church, but on the order of the King of Ethiopia were hung from trees with their own cords and stoned.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 7 August as a Capuchin priest and martyr stoned at Gondar in Ethiopia.
