Who they were
Catalina Caldés Socías was born at La Pobla on 9 July 1899 and made her solemn profession as a religious sister in 1925.
She was killed on 24 July 1936, during the Spanish Civil War, one of a group of priests, religious men and women martyred for bearing witness to the faith or for lovingly taking in those forced out of their convents.
