Who they were
In the same place, Blessed Ceferino Giménez Malla, martyr, who, of Romani (Gypsy) origin, worked to promote peace and harmony between his people and their neighbours, until he was arrested in that same persecution while defending a priest being dragged through the streets by militiamen. Shut in prison and finally led to the cemetery, he was shot with the Rosary in his hands, thus ending his earthly pilgrimage.

Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 2 August as a Romani martyr of Barbastro, arrested for defending a priest and shot with the Rosary in his hands.
