Who they were
Born in Ourense province and ordained on 1 March 1947, he spent 38 years in Venezuela, where he led the first Cursillo de Cristiandad in the country, founded retreat houses and the Trípode publishing house, and built the church of María Madre de la Iglesia in El Marqués, Caracas. The diocese gives his birthplace as Espinoso, Ourense; the Hagiography Circle record says Ella de Arriba, Cartelle, also in Ourense.

Why that counted as sanctity
The Diocese of Ourense reported that the closing session of the diocesan phase of his beatification cause was held on 20 August 2024 at Villa Mosén Sol in Caracas, and that the process was begun in November 2018; it calls him Servant of God.
