Who they were
Near Vannes on the coast of Brittany, Blessed Charles of Blois, a devout, gentle and humble man: Duke of Brittany, he would have wished to enter the Friars Minor, but, forced to defend his sovereignty against an enemy, strong in difficulties, he endured a long imprisonment and was killed in battle near Auray.
