Clelia Barbieri

Who they were
Clelia Barbieri was born on 13 February 1847 at Le Budrie, near San Giovanni in Persiceto, Bologna, to a father from one of the poorest families there and a mother from one of the most prominent.
She founded the Minim Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows for the human and Christian formation of girls, especially the poor. She died at 23, promising the sister who would succeed her: 'I am going, but I will never abandon you.'
