Who they were
Born at Sesto San Giovanni near Milan, he was ordained a Capuchin in 1891 and sailed for Brazil in 1894, preaching missions through the backlands of Ceará and founding the Capuchin Missionary Sisters in 1904 to teach and care for the poor.
