Clotilde Micheli
ltalian nun and Blessed (1849–1911)
Feast: 24 March (not on the universal Roman calendar; kept in the Roman Martyrology or local calendars)
Who they were
Clotilde Micheli was born on 11 September 1849 at Imèr, Trento, then in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, to poor but deeply Christian parents who taught her to trust wholly in God and help anyone in need.
As Mother Maria Serafina of the Sacred Heart she founded the Sisters of the Angels, who still teach children and young people and care for the sick. Always suffering physically, she spent her last years at Faicchio.
