Who they were
Colman, born in Dalaradia about 450, studied at Noendrum under St Mochae, an early disciple of St Patrick, and later at the school of Emly.
He founded the See of Dromore, of which he is patron and was bishop, and taught at Mahee Island, where St Finian of Movilla was among his pupils. The date of his death is uncertain.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
