Who they were
Born at Lucca in 1619, he joined the Clerics Regular of the Mother of God at Santa Maria in Campitelli in Rome, worked with Anna Moroni during the 1656 plague, wrote 'La nutrice spirituale', and drew up the first rule of the Oblate Sisters of the Holy Child Jesus.

The Diocese of Rome opened his beatification cause together with that of Anna Moroni on 5 June 2015, the diocesan phase closing on 31 May 2019.
