Who they were
At Västerås in Sweden, Saint David, bishop, who, English by nationality, after becoming a Cluniac monk, set out to convert the Swedes to Christ and, by then elderly, died piously in the monastery he himself had founded.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 15 July as an English Cluniac monk who went to convert the Swedes and died in the monastery he founded.
