Torreggiani was a priest of Reggio Emilia who founded the secular institute of the Servants of the Church and worked among travellers, prisoners and circus people; he died at Palencia in Spain. Santiebeati.it gives his birth as 7 September 1905, a day earlier than the Hagiography Circle.
