Dionisio Terceño Vicente

Who they were

Dionisio Terceño Vicente was an Augustinian deacon and student of theology, aged 24, one of the ninety-seven companions of Avelino Rodríguez Alonso of the Order of Saint Augustine who, with six priests of the diocesan clergy, are named in the decree on martyrdom as put to death in 1936.

He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Benedict XVI.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
