Who they were
At Leopoldov in Slovakia, Blessed Metod Dominik Trčka, priest of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer and martyr, whose earthly pilgrimage, in a time of persecution of the faith, was changed by his glorious martyrdom into eternal life.
The miracles
As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 23 March as a Redemptorist priest and martyr who died at Leopoldov in a time of persecution.
