Who they were
In the monastery of Bebron, also in Lugdunensis Gaul, Saint Domitian, abbot, who was the first to lead the hermit life in this place and, having gathered many there to the service of God, always occupied with heavenly things, left this world in advanced old age.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 1 July as the first hermit at Bebron, who gathered many there to serve God and died in advanced old age.
