Who they were

Eduardo Infante del Castillo was a lay student and president of the Catholic Action Youth of Martos, who was imprisoned, ill-treated and insulted by the man who had arrested him, and was held until dawn on 3 October 1936 and killed on the road to Martos at Venta de Pantalones. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
