Why that counted as sanctity
A diocesan process into her holiness was opened twenty days after her death in 1801 by the Diocese of Osor and completed within three months, but lapsed when Osor was suppressed and its territory joined to the Diocese of Krk; the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints gave the nihil obstat before Easter 2023 allowing the cause to be resumed. She was a Benedictine nun of the noble Colombis family of Cres who entered the monastery of St Peter at eighteen and is titled Sluzbenica Bozja (Servant of God).
