Argentine widow who opened her house to orphans and founded the Dominican Sisters of Tucumán
Who they were
Widowed in 1886, Paz de Gallo turned her house in Tucumán into a home for orphans at the request of the Dominican friar Ángel María Boisdron, and the work became the Dominican Sisters of Tucumán. The congregation dates her death 2 November 1911; the Hagiography Circle says 11 November, and the Catholic source is followed here.
