Who they were
At Calahorra in northern Spain, Saints Emetherius and Chelidonius, who, both soldiers near León in Galicia, when the persecution broke out, were brought to Calahorra for having confessed the name of Christ and there received the crown of martyrdom.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 3 March as a soldier martyred at Calahorra for confessing the name of Christ.
