Who they were
Enrique Palacios Monrabá was born at Cazalla de la Sierra near Seville on 3 April 1917 and entered the seminary of Seville on 29 August 1928. Home on holiday after his first year of theology, he was arrested and killed with his father Manuel Palacios Rodríguez in the prison yard of Cazalla de la Sierra on 5 August 1936. Pope Francis beatified him on 18 November 2023.
