The diocesan inquiry into the cause of the Servant of God Enzo Piccinini was opened in the Archdiocese of Modena-Nonantola in December 2020 (nihil obstat 8 May 2020) and the cause has since passed to its Roman phase under postulator Fr Walter Vinci.
