Archbishop Orazio Soricelli of Amalfi-Cava de' Tirreni called the diocese, together with the Church of Fabriano-Matelica, to a solemn supplication in Amalfi cathedral on 27 January 2025 for the elevation to the honours of the altars of Mons. He is remembered for his charitable works, including an orphanage and a trade school for young people.
