Who they were
The Roman Martyrology remembers her at Liège in Belgium as Blessed Eugénie Joubert, virgin of the Congregation of the Holy Family of the Heart of Jesus, who gave herself to teaching Christian doctrine to children and, falling ill with consumption, followed the suffering Christ with love. She was beatified on 20 November 1994 by John Paul II.
