Eurosia Fabris

Who they were
Eurosia Fabris was born at Quinto Vicentino near Vicenza on 27 September 1866 to farming parents, and from the age of four lived all her life at Marola. She had only two years of schooling, needed at home and in the fields.
In 1885 a young neighbour died leaving three baby daughters, an event that marked her deeply. As a wife and mother, 'Mamma Rosa', she became a model of Christian life in the lay state, and is patron of the Franciscan tertiaries of the Veneto. She died on 8 January 1932.
The miracles
She was beatified in Vicenza cathedral. The Dicastery's biography does not describe the miracles approved in the cause.
Why that counted as sanctity
A farmer's wife and mother who became a model of Christian family life.
