Who they were
In the region of Artois in Neustria, in the territory of present-day France, Saint Eusebia, abbess of Hamay-sur-la-Scarpe, who, after the death of her father, gave herself to the monastic life together with her holy mother Rictrude and while still young was elected abbess, succeeding her grandmother Saint Gertrude.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: she has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 16 March as the young abbess of Hamay who succeeded her grandmother Saint Gertrude.
