Who they were

A professed religious of the Hospitaller Order of St John of God, in the world Antonio, born on 28 September 1875 at Reus in the province of Tarragona; he was shot on 30 July 1936 with the community of the novitiate house at Calafell. He was beatified on 25 October 1992 by John Paul II, among Braulio María Corres, Federico Rubio and sixty-nine companions of the Hospitaller Order of St John of God.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

The Roman Martyrology names him among the Hospitaller martyrs of Spain.
