Who they were
Humbertus van Lieshout was born and baptised at Aarle-Rixtel in the Netherlands on 3 November 1890, the eighth of eleven children of a deeply Catholic farming family.
A priest of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, as Father Eustáquio he was a father of the poor, a nurse to the sick, a shepherd of souls and a model parish priest.
