Who they were
At Ratzeburg in Alsace, now in Germany, Saint Evermode, bishop, who, a disciple of Saint Norbert in the Premonstratensian Order, worked for the conversion of the Wendish people.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 17 February as a Premonstratensian bishop, disciple of Saint Norbert, who worked to convert the Wends.
