Spanish priest who co-founded the Handmaids of the Immaculate Child
Who they were
Ordained at Almería in 1890, he joined the Diocesan Worker Priests and, while in Mexico City, founded with Rosario Arrevillaga Escalada the Congregation of the Handmaids of the Immaculate Child; he died at San Diego, California, on a missionary journey and is buried in the crypt of Mexico City cathedral.
