Who they were

The decree on martyrdom records that he was born at Devesa de Curueño on 26 November 1907, made his religious profession in 1923 and was ordained priest in 1930, and taught philosophy, being affable and open in character and exact in keeping the Rule. He was killed at Calanda on 29 July 1936 and beatified on 11 March 2001 by Pope John Paul II.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

The decree says he kept the Rule carefully and was affable and generous in character.
