Who they were
Felipe de Jesús Munárriz Azcona (1875-1936) was a priest of the Claretian Missionaries, at their seminary community in Barbastro.
On 20 July 1936 militiamen seized the whole community and condemned them to death without trial. He was shot at Barbastro on 2 August 1936, aged 61, one of the 51 Claretian martyrs of Barbastro, killed at the cemetery gates.
