Who they were
A student of the Order of Friars Minor, born on 30 January 1915 at Gutierremuñoz in the province of Ávila. Called up for military service, he was unable to finish his studies in theology.
He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Benedict XVI, one of Víctor Chumillas Fernández and his twenty-one companions of the Order of Friars Minor.
