Who they were
Fernando de Pablos Fernández was born at Valcuende on 7 April 1876, entered the Order of Preachers as a lay brother and made perpetual vows in 1908. He served as sacristan and was shot at Almería in the night between 10 and 11 September 1936; Pope Francis beatified him on 18 June 2022.

His body was thrown into a common grave and could not be identified.
