Fernando González Ros was born on 12 August 1871 at Cuevas de Almanzora, in the province and diocese of Almería, and was ordained priest in 1897.
He was killed on 10 September 1936 in the province of Almería, and Pope Francis beatified him on 25 March 2017 among José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre and 114 companions, diocesan priests and lay faithful killed between 1936 and 1938.
