Who they were

A professed religious of the Hospitaller Order of St John of God, in the world Atilano, born on 5 October 1877 at Mazuecos de Valdeginate in the diocese of Palencia; he belonged to the community of Ciempozuelos and was killed at Valdemoro near Madrid on 12 August 1936. He was beatified on 25 October 1992 by John Paul II, among Braulio María Corres, Federico Rubio and sixty-nine companions of the Hospitaller Order of St John of God.

The Roman Martyrology names him among the Hospitaller martyrs of Spain.
