In the city of Taiyuan in the province of Shanxi, also in China, the passion of Saints Gregory Grassi and Francesco Fogolla, bishops of the Order of Friars Minor, and twenty-four companions, martyrs, who during the persecution by the followers of the Boxer sect were killed out of hatred for the name of Christ.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 9 July as a Franciscan bishop killed at Taiyuan with twenty-four companions in the Boxer persecution.
