A Consolata missionary, he led the Apostolic Prefecture of Iringa in Tanzania from 1922 and founded the Teresina Sisters, the first local congregation there, dying in a road accident in 1935.

His cause received the nulla osta (nihil obstat) of the Holy See on 22 December 2020 at the petition of the Missionary Sisters of St Therese of the Child Jesus in Iringa, and documentation is being gathered for the diocesan inquiry; he is titled Servant of God.
