Who they were
Johann Baptist Jordan was born in Gurtweil, in Baden, Germany, on 16 June 1848. A gifted linguist, he became a priest and in Rome in 1881 founded the Society of the Divine Saviour, the Salvatorians, taking the name Francis Mary of the Cross; the Salvatorian sisters followed.
He died in Switzerland on 8 September 1918.
The miracles

In the 23rd week of pregnancy the baby was diagnosed with a severe form of skeletal dysplasia. Her parents asked Fr Jordan's intercession for a healthy birth. She was born completely healthy on 8 September 2014, the feast of the Birth of Mary and the anniversary of his death.
He was beatified in Rome. One more approved miracle is needed for canonisation.
Why that counted as sanctity
The case of an unborn girl and her parents, lay Salvatorians was examined by the Church's doctors and theologians and approved as a miracle on 19 June 2020, opening the way to beatification. Beatification followed on 15 May 2021 by Cardinal Angelo De Donatis, for Pope Francis.
