Francis Bianchi

Who they were

Francesco Saverio Bianchi was born at Arpino on 2 December 1743 and studied at Nola and Naples. In 1762 he joined the Barnabites and was ordained in Naples in 1767, then taught and held important offices.

Rich in mystical gifts, in Naples he drew many to live with him in the grace of the Gospel. He died there on 31 January 1815.
