Who they were

At Nagasaki in Japan, Blesseds Sebastian Kimura, of the Society of Jesus, Francis Morales, of the Order of Preachers, priests, and fifty companions, martyrs, who, priests, religious, married couples, young people, catechists, widows and children, died for Christ on a hill before a great crowd amid cruel tortures.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 10 September as a Dominican priest martyred at Nagasaki with fifty companions.
