Who they were
Francis Venimbeni, born on 2 September 1251, joined the Franciscans in 1267 and gave his life to preaching in and around his native Fabriano.
A man of prayer and constant study, he insisted that friars preach only sound doctrine in careful language, and founded a library for his friars.
The miracles
He is honoured as Blessed by long-standing veneration; the Catholic Encyclopedia does not describe a formal cause.
