Who they were

At the place called El Saler, also in the same territory, Blessed Elvira of the Nativity of Our Lady Torrentallé Paraire and companions, virgins of the Institute of the Carmelite Sisters of Charity and martyrs, who, fighting for the faith in Christ the Bridegroom, won the prize of eternal life.

Among those named is Blessed Francisca Ametzua.

As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 19 August among the Carmelite Sisters of Charity martyred at El Saler.
