Francisco Manzano Cruz was born on 15 January 1881 at Adra, and the date of his priestly ordination is not recorded.
He was killed on 1 September 1936 at the place called La Herradura, in the province of Granada, and Pope Francis beatified him on 25 March 2017 among José Álvarez-Benavides de la Torre and 114 companions, diocesan priests and lay faithful killed between 1936 and 1938.
