Who they were
Francisco Morales Vera was a priest, born at Campillo de Arenas on 20 February 1900 and ordained on 23 September 1922, who was parish priest of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación at Arjonilla and was killed on 9 September 1936. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
