The passion of the Blessed martyrs Ignatius de Azevedo, priest, and thirty-eight companions of the Society of Jesus, who, while sailing to the missions in Brazil on a ship called the Saint James, were attacked by pirates and, out of hatred of the Catholic religion, run through with sword and lance.
